Global Institute of Echocardiography was founded in 2023 with the mission to provide comprehensive instruction in the area of Adult Echocardiography using a hybrid format of online and in-person methods for underserved communities.
Who we are
Founders, Kathy Johnson & Robin Lucas possess a cumulative 20 years of clinical and instructional experience in Sonography with a focus on Cardiac Sonography (Echocardiography). Our passion for teaching at the collegiate level ultimately brought us together on this journey. Recognizing the need for outreach and advancement is our driving force in changing the foundational path of education in this field.
Who we are
We strive to concomitantly provide students with a thorough understanding of basic Echocardiography principles while developing diagnostic scanning skills. Mastering student instruction, measured by past student successes, has led us to embark on targeting the support and advancement of cardiac care across the world. We understand the dilemma of absorbing an enormous amount of content in order to be an asset to clinical teams and patients alike. Therefore, GIE has created accelerated and easily accessible Cardiac Sonography education to support clinical needs no matter the geographical location. Our passion, combined with a dynamic and diverse work ethic, supports educational advancements at an elite level.
